Assignment:
To design a toy or educational product for children in the 3rd and 4th grades.
Approach:
We began by observing, talking and interacting with students at a local elementary school. We reminded ourselves what it was like to be a kid and drew inspiration from their curriculum.

Prototyping:
After narrowing the scope of our initial brainstorms, we decided to make a cube-based puzzle game. I often used my logbook to elaborate on our ideas. We built numerous prototypes before settling on a final design.

Product:

The final producible work was a short video explaining how the product worked as well as the functional model seen to the left. The next step in the process would have been product testing with children.
