The Pom-Pom Suit

After Stanford's Water Polo team lost in the NCAA finals for a second year, fans threw down their pom-poms as they left the stadium. I seized the opportunity and collected most of the discarded pom-poms.

Inspiration:

I was inspired by the pants that Andre3000 from OutKast wore in the music video for their song, Rosa Parks.
|

Approach:
|
The pom-pom suit contains over 250 cheerleading pom-poms that I sewed on with fishing line to a base shirt and pair of pants.
|

Product:
|
The final suit turned out better than I imagined. Because the suit was very warm, I decided to take it to the ski slopes and shred some powder.
