Project: DaVinci's Revenge Description: German for "fly-day", Flugtag is a competition sponsored by Red Bull where contestants build human-powered "flying machines." The air craft are launched off a 30 foot barge into the San Francisco Bay. Proposal: To be accepted to compete in the Flugtag competition, we had to submit a project proposal. Construction: The craft consisted of a large foam disc mounted on a wooden cart, both of which were decorated with a DaVinci renaissance theme. Video: Click here for a short video clip.
